What time can I check in and out?

Check-in is after 3:00 PM, while check-out is required from 10:00 AM.

What are the reception hours?

Reception is available to assist guests during the day from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

What languages do the reception speak?

We speak Italian and English.

Where is the facility located and how can it be reached?

The Hotel de Gletscher is located in Tschaval n°28, at approximately 1850 metres above sea level, in the municipality of Gressoney-La-Trinité, at the foot of Monte Rosa.
It can be reached by car via Regional Road 44 towards Staffal, about 4 km from Gressoney-La-Trinité.

Is there parking on the property?

Yes, free outdoor parking is available.

Does the property have an elevator?

Yes

What are the accessibility elements of the facility?

The Hotel de Gletscher offers solutions designed to facilitate the stay of guests with reduced mobility.
The property has an elevator, direct access from the garage and easy-to-use common areas. The Deluxe South Rooms feature larger rooms and a bathroom with a flush-floored shower, ensuring greater comfort and freedom of movement.
For specific needs, we recommend contacting us before your stay so we can better organize your reception.
The structure is located in a mountain environment. The common areas are accessible as well as the deluxe south rooms, but for specific needs we recommend contacting us before booking so we can check the most suitable solution.

Yes. It must be requested and will be made available according to the availability of the facility.

How is the check-in at the property?

Check-in is directly at reception upon arrival. In the event of an expected arrival after hours, we ask guests to notify us in advance.

Early check-in can only be granted based on room availability, on the day of arrival.

Is it possible to postpone check-out?

Late check-out can be requested. It is subject to operational availability of the facility.

What are the reception hours?

Reception times are 8:00 – 20:00.

Is there a shuttle service to/from the facility?

We don't have a fixed shuttle service, but we can provide guidance on local transportation and the best ways to get there.

Is there a charging service for electric cars?

Near the hotel 500 meters away.

Can children stay in the facility?

Yes, children are welcome. For familiar solutions, availability of cots or specific configurations, we recommend contacting us at the time of booking.

How far are the ski slopes from the facility?

The property is very conveniently located for ski lovers, with privileged access to the Monterosa Ski area.
More precise formula: 200 mt from the moos track.

Do you offer ski and boot storage?

Yes, we provide ski and boot storage for guests.

Are there ski rentals available nearby?

Yes, there are two ski rental services in the Staffal / Gressoney-La-Trinité area. We can help guests with helpful directions.

Do you organize lessons or ski guides?

We can support guests with useful contacts for ski schools, masters and guides of the area. Direct management or only reporting as per guest request.

Are the slopes suitable for beginners/families too?

Yes, the area offers some opportunities for both experienced skiers and beginners and families, with different types of slopes and services in the Monterosa Ski area.

Yes, cribs or cots can be requested at the time of booking, subject to availability.

What time is breakfast served?

Normally between 8:00 and 10:00 unless explicitly requested to move up to 7:30.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in the dedicated spaces of the property.

What kind of breakfast is served?

Every morning guests find a rich and well-groomed breakfast, served in a welcoming and bright environment, overlooking the mountains. The buffet offers a balanced selection of traditional flavours and quality products, ideal both for starting a day on skis and for a relaxing hike in the mountains.

Among the proposals:

  • fresh bread and artisanal baked goods
  • homemade cakes
  • jams and honey
  • selected cheeses and cured meats
  • yogurt and cereals
  • fresh seasonal fruit
  • hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs



Rounding out the experience are freshly prepared hot drinks like espresso, cappuccino, tea, and hot chocolate, accompanied by juices and other light options. Vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options are available upon request to meet guests' diverse dietary needs.

Are there options for celiacs, vegetarians, and vegans?

We can provide options for specific dietary needs, upon advance request.
Detail on certified celiac disease/no contamination: we cannot guarantee non-contamination (only one kitchen)

Is breakfast included?

Yes, breakfast is included in the living room, except for various pricing conditions.

Is there a restaurant on the property?

The property offers breakfast and a snack. Half board treatment is also available during the winter season.
We'll start opening the restaurant for a few evenings during the summer.

Are there options for celiacs, vegetarians, and vegans?

Yes, we can evaluate dedicated proposals upon advance request. For special needs, it is always preferable to report them before arrival.

Is there a bar on the property?

Is there a Spa/Wellness Center on the property?

Yes, the property has a wellness area with a sauna and Turkish bath, as well as a sun terrace with mountain views.

What are the Spa/Wellness Center hours?

4:30-7:30 PM.

Do you provide a Spa/Wellness Center kit?

Bathrobe, Drapeskin, slippers on request.

ACTIVITIES, EXPERIENCES & EVENTS

Does the property have a concierge service?

We offer support and assistance with local information, activities, excursions, and personalized suggestions during your stay.

Do you organize tours and excursions in the surrounding area?

We help guests discover the area and direct them to local activities, excursions, and points of interest such as Monterosa Ski, the Walser Ecomuseum, Forte di Bard, Castel Savoia, as well as seasonal activities available in the area.

Can you organize weddings or private events?

The property can evaluate requests for small private events or exclusive stays, upon request and subject to availability.
